The owners of a 2011 Honda CR-V contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home in the 3700 block Ednor Road in Baltimore City, Maryland.

The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda CR-V.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda CR-V with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to the 3300 block Abel Avenue in Baltimore City. At that location, detectives observed the Honda parked and unoccupied.  Officers recovered the undamaged Honda and notified the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2011 Honda CR-V during August 2013 at Heritage Honda of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland.
