The owner of a 2008 Honda Ridgeline pickup found their residence to be burglarized and their Honda to be stolen.  The owner contacted the North Las Vegas Police Department to report the residential burglary and the Honda as stolen.

The North Las Vegas PD verified the burglary and vehicle theft.  The officers entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Officers from the North Las Vegas PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to a residential neighborhood abandoned and in good condition.

The North Las Vegas PD conducted an excellent investigation identifying and locating three suspects involved in the residential burglary and auto theft.  The majority of stolen property was recovered, including stolen firearms, and will be released back to the owner along with the stolen Honda.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Ridgeline in October 2008 at Findlay Honda in Las Vegas, Nevada.
