The owners of a 2004 Cadillac CTS contacted the Asbury Park Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of a bowling alley. The vehicle had the keys in it and was left running to warm up.

The Asbury Park PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2004 Cadillac CTS.

A short while later officers from the Jersey City Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Cadillac to Liberty State Park where the vehicle was recovered parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2004 Cadillac CTS in November of 2007 at Cox Nissan in Bronx, New York.
