The owner of this Lexus SUV drove into a condominium complex to pick up a friend and left the car running while she went to get her.  Almost immediately she heard her Lexus drive away at a fast rate.  The theft was reported to the Federal Way Police Department.  The report was verified and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.

Just thirty minutes after activating the LoJack, a Federal Way PD officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lexus on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  He quickly tracked and located the Lexus abandoned on South 329th Street.  It was not damaged.  The Lexus was returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Lexus in December of 2007 at Lexus of Tacoma in Fife, Washington.
