The owner of this Audi A6 was the victim of a vehicle prowl a few days before the car was stolen.  At that time, thieves took a purse with keys to the Audi.  The thieves later returned and took the Audi from an apartment complex on North Creek Drive in Mill Creek.  When the theft was discovered, it was reported to the Mill Creek Police Department.  The report was verified and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Audi.

Within eight minutes of the LoJack activation, a Marysville Police Department officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Audi on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officer tracked the Audi to the 5800 block of 60th Drive NE in Marysville.  A suspect in the Audi was arrested and booked into jail.  The current owner purchased the Audi as a used vehicle and was not aware it was equipped with LoJack.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Audi A6 in February of 2007 at Ehrlich Toyota in Greely, Colorado.
