The owner of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade contacted the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office to report that their vehicle was stolen.  The BCSO verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Cadillac.

Within 30 minutes of the activation, the BCSO deputies picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac in the South Area Command with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the audible and directional cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the Cadillac to a tow yard.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Cadillac Escalade in September 2007 at Coulter Motors in Tempe, Arizona.
