The owner of a Dodge Stratus contacted the Moore Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a residence in Moore, Oklahoma.

The Moore PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

A short while later officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Hefner Division picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in patrol cars and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC the officers successfully tracked and located the stolen Dodge near NW 31st and May Ave. in OKC.  The stolen Dodge was occupied and one subject was taken into custody at the location of recovery. When recovered the Dodge was in good condition and undamaged. The recovered Dodge was secured until the owner could be notified and the vehicle returned.

The LoJack® Vehicle Recovery System was installed in this Dodge Stratus February 2003 at Bledsoe Dodge in Dallas, Texas.
