The owners of a 2005 Lexus ES330 contacted the Atlantic City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a city parking lot while they were shopping at the Atlantic City Outlet Stores.

The Atlantic City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2005 Lexus ES330.

A short while later officers from the Pleasantville Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lexus with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Lexus to a shopping center on Route 422 in the City of Pleasantville, where the Lexus was recovered parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2005 Lexus ES330 in August 2005 via Direct Sales in New Jersey.
