During the early morning hours a local car dealership discovered a new Ford F250 truck stolen along with the keys overnight. They immediately called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System preinstalled by the dealership in the Ford.

Within minutes officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan PD “Northwest Area Station” began picking up the silent LoJack signal from the Ford truck with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers installed in their patrol cars.

The officers tracked the stolen Ford to the area of Duncan and N. Rancho Drive, where it had been abandoned by the suspect(s).

The LoJack® System was preinstalled in the Ford truck on June 2014 by a local dealership.
