The owner of a 2009 Honda Accord 4-door contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the 3300 block Westerwald Avenue in the Waverly area of Baltimore City, Maryland.

The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2009 Honda Accord.

A short while later officers in the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen 2009 Honda Accord with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to the 1200 block W. North Avenue in Baltimore City. At that location, officers observed the Honda parked and unoccupied. Officers recovered the stolen 2009 Honda Accord and notified the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2009 Honda Accord in October 2009.
