This Ford Mustang was stolen sometime during the night from the owner’s residence on Harvard Avenue in Seattle.  It was reported to the Seattle Police Department.  The report was verified and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mustang.
Just sixteen minutes later,  a Seattle Police officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mustang on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, he tracked it to Maynard Avenue South & South Jackson Street where the Ford was located abandoned.  There was no visible damage.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Mustang in January of 2005.   The current owner purchased it as a used car and was not aware the vehicle was equipped with LoJack.
