The owners of a 2011 Toyota Camry contacted the Jersey City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their driveway on Newark Avenue, in Jersey City.

The Jersey City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2011 Toyota Camry.

A short while later officers from the Jersey City PD picked up the silent LoJack homing signal from the stolen Toyota Camry with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Officers tracked the Toyota to the Liberty State Park train station in the Jersey City. The 2011 Toyota Camry was recovered parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2011 Toyota Camry in June 2014.
