This Honda Civic was stolen as part of a commercial burglary of a building on South King Street in Seattle.  When the crimes were discovered the next morning it was reported to the Seattle Police Department.  The report was verified and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.
Later that evening, a Seattle PD officer picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Honda on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, he tracked it to 8th Avenue South & Yesler Way where it was found abandoned and apparently undamaged
The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda in June of 2006.
