LoJack® System Helps San Diego Police Department Recover Stolen Mercedes Benz C250

The owners of a 2013 Mercedes Benz contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their residence in San Diego.

San Diego police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mercedes Benz.

A while later, officers from San Diego Police Department picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Mercedes Benz with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 400 block of Maple Street in San Diego. The vehicle was recovered undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Mercedes Benz in December 2013.
