The owners of a 2008 Honda CRV contacted the Walnut Creek Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the street in front of their home.

Walnut Creek PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Less than 1 hour later officers from Emeryville  PD picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a shopping center parking lot.  The driver of the stolen Honda was stopped and arrested for Vehicle Theft.  The owners of the stolen Honda were called to recover their undamaged vehicle.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2008 Honda CRV in 2008 at Goudy Honda, Alhambra CA
