The person who had rented a 2014 Bobcat Skid Steer, from a local equipment rental company in Rogers, AR contacted the Benton County Sheriff’s Department to report the equipment stolen.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activates the LoJack® System concealed in the equipment.

Several weeks later, a pilot with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Troop O Air Support Unit picked up the silent signal from the stolen Bobcat with the LoJack Tracking Computer installed in the aircraft while flying in eastern Oklahoma.

Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computer the pilot was able to successfully pinpoint a location in a rural area near Gentry, Arkansas.
