The owners of a 2011 Toyota Forklift contacted the Campbell Police Department to report that their forklift was stolen from in front of their business.

Campbell Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Forklift.

A short while later  officers from  Campbell PD picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Toyota Forklift with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a business on the same street from where it was stolen.  Officers entered the open business and located the stolen forklift.  After a short investigation, the officers made 2 arrests for Grand Theft.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota forklift in July 2011.
