The owners of a 1992 Honda Accord EX contacted the Albuquerque Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a residence located in the Southwest Area Command of Albuquerque.  Albuquerque Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Officers from Albuquerque PD picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Honda with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a residence in the area of Broadway and Thaxton located in the Valley Area Command of Albuquerque.  Deputies from Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the recovery efforts.
