The owners of a 2012 Ford Fusion contacted the Rahway Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.  The owners were at a shopping mall and when they returned to the parking lot they discovered that their vehicle was gone.

Rahway PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2012 Ford Fusion.

A short while later officers from the Woodbridge Police Department picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Ford with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a private residence in the Fords section of Woodbridge Township. There they found two suspects removing the wheels and tires from the stolen 2012 Ford Fusion. The suspects were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.
The LoJack® System was installed in the 2012 Ford Fusion, in August 30, 2013.
