The owners of this Pontiac Grand Prix contacted the Denver PD to report that their vehicle was stolen from home.

Denver PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Pontiac.

A short while later officers with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Westminster PD, Edgewater PD and the Colorado State Patrol were picking up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Pontiac with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, officers with Edgewater PD tracked the vehicle to the area of 38th and Zenobia where the vehicle was found abandoned.  It was returned to the very grateful owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Pontiac Grand Prix in June 2003.
