The owner of this Audi Q7 discovered the vehicle was stolen during the night from the 8100 block of NE 150th Street in Kenmore.  He immediately called the King County Sheriff’s Office to report the theft.

The information was verified by the King County SO and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Audi.
Just eleven minutes later, a Snohomish County Sheriff deputy picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Audi with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputy quickly tracked the vehicle to the 500 block of 128th Street Southwest where it was located abandoned.  It did not appear to be damaged.  The recovery time was just nineteen minutes after the LoJack® was activated

The LoJack® System was installed in the Audi in October of 2008.
