The owners of a 2007 Chevrolet 4 Door contacted the Houston Police Department to report someone had stolen their keys from their room and their vehicle was stolen from a motel parking lot on 12900 Northwest Freeway in Houston, TX.

The Houston Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chevrolet.

A short while later,  officers from the Houston Police Department  picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Chevrolet with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a private residence in 1600 block of Wheeler. One suspect was taken into custody.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2007 Chevrolet in January 2007.
