The owner of this Honda Accord discovered the vehicle was stolen during the night from his apartment complex in the 12400 block of Admiralty Way and called the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office to report the theft.

The information was verified by the Snohomish County SO and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Just five minutes later, Snohomish County deputies picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Honda with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies quickly tracked the vehicle to another part of the same large apartment complex where it was located abandoned.  It did not appear to be damaged.  The owner confirmed he did not park it in the location it was found and was happy to get it back so quickly.  The recovery time was just eight minutes after the LoJack® was activated

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in June of 2007.
