The  owner of a 2005 Cadillac DeVille contacted the Prince George’s County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from Jutewood Avenue in the Hyattsville area of Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Prince George’s County Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2005 Cadillac DeVille.

A short while later officers from the Prince George’s County P D picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen 2005 Cadillac DeVille with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 1400 block Nye Street in Capitol Heights, Maryland. At that location, officers observed the vehicle parked and unoccupied.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2005 Cadillac DeVille during November, 2005 at Capitol Cadillac in Greenbelt, Maryland.
