When their Honda Accord station wagon was stolen overnight from their residence in Vancouver, WA, these victims were grateful for the LoJack® system that was installed in their vehicle. With LoJack’s help, local law enforcement made a safe recovery the same day the crime was reported.

When the theft was discovered on July 6th, 2014, its owners contacted the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Community Honda in Whittier, CA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, a Clark County Sheriff’s deputy received the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The Honda was located on NE 55th Circle where it was found parked and abandoned. Deputies retrieved the undamaged Accord and returned it to its grateful owners.
