The Manchester, NH resident held a party at his home on a recent Sunday, and discovered the next morning that one of his guests had stolen his keys and taken his Mazda 626 without permission. Thanks to the excellent work of local law enforcement, with help from the LoJack® system that was installed at purchase, the car was recovered later that same day.

On June 16th, 2014, the Mazda’s owner contacted the Manchester Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the 626, which was installed at Bournival Chevrolet Mazda in Portsmouth, NH.

A short while later, officers with the Manchester PD began picking up the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Mazda on Montgomery Street, parked and unoccupied. After a brief surveillance, the 626 was retrieved and soon returned to its grateful owners.
