On a recent Saturday, the owner of a GMC Sierra discovered it was missing from his business in Houston, TX. The truck was recovered in Oklahoma later that same day, thanks to the excellent work of law enforcement, with an assist from the LoJack® system that was installed when the pickup was purchased.

On June 19th, 2014, the GMC’s owner contacted the Houston Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Sierra, which was installed at Buz Post Pontiac GMC in Arlington, TX, was then automatically activated.

Later, an officer with the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Spring Lake Division picked up the silent homing signal from the stolen truck with the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol car. The GMC was located in the area of NE 41st Terrace and Everest, occupied by one person who was quickly taken into custody. The Sierra was found to be in good condition and was quickly returned to its owner in Houston.
