The owners of a Nissan Quest minivan discovered it missing on a recent Saturday. Because this vehicle had been protected with the LoJack® system when it was purchased, local law enforcement made a fast, safe recovery.

On June 28th, 2014, the Nissan’s owners contacted the La Vergne Police Department to report the vehicle stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack transponder concealed in the Quest, which was installed at Power Nissan of El Monte, CA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, Metro Nashville PD officers picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen minivan on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their vehicle. The Nissan was found parked and unoccupied in a business district. Officers retrieved the Quest and soon returned it to its appreciative owners.
