This case involves a 2010 Toyota Sienna that was stolen on a recent Saturday in Baltimore, MD. Thanks to the excellent work of local law enforcement, with help from the LoJack® system installed inside the minivan, it was recovered quickly and safely.

On June 28th, 2014, the Toyota’s owner contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Sienna, which was installed at Jones Auto Group in Bel Air, MD.

A short while later, officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen minivan on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Toyota was found parked and unoccupied on Eutaw Place. The Sienna was retrieved and soon returned to its appreciative owners.
