The LoJack® system helps law enforcement make fast, safe recoveries of stolen cars, trucks, vans and motorcycles. In this case, a Dodge Durango stolen in Las Vegas, NV, is recovered in less than two hours by local law enforcement assisted by LoJack.

On June 6th, 2014, the Dodge’s owner contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report their SUV was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Durango, which was installed at CarMax of Henderson, NV.

A short while later, officers from the LVMP picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen SUV with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Dodge was found in a large apartment complex, where it was parked and abandoned. The undamaged Durango was soon returned to its elated owners.
