The owners of a Saturn LS parked their vehicle in the lot of their multi family home on a recent Tuesday evening and discovered it missing the next morning. The LoJack® system that was installed when the car was purchased assisted local police with a fast, safe, same-day recovery.

On May 7th, 2014, the Saturn’s owner reported the incident to the Durham Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the LS, which was installed at Saturn of Owings Mills, MD.

A short while later, officers from the Durham PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Saturn was found parked and abandoned in a city lot in downtown Durham. Officers retrieved the LS and soon returned it to its grateful owners.
