On a recent Monday, these residents of Albuquerque, NM, discovered their Jeep Grand Cherokee missing from their residence. Thanks to assistance from the LoJack® system installed in the SUV, local law enforcement made a same day recovery of the vehicle.

On April 14th, 2014, the Jeep’s owners contacted the Albuquerque Police Department to report their vehicle had been stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack® device in the Grand Cherokee, which was installed at La Brea Chrysler Jeep in Los Angeles, CA, was then automatically activated.

The Jeep was located near the intersection of Blake and Coors where it was found parked and unoccupied. After a brief surveillance, the Grand Cherokee was retrieved and soon returned to its rightful owners.
