The LoJack® System Helps Houston, Texas Police Department Recover Stolen Chevrolet Silverado

The Houston, TX residents in this case got an incredible shock when they discovered that their Chevrolet Silverado was missing from the parking lot of their apartment complex. The LoJack® system that was installed when the pickup was purchased showed what a smart investment it was. Local law enforcement, assisted by LoJack, recovered the truck later that same day.
On May 5th, 2015, the Chevy’s owners reported the crime to the Houston Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Silverado, which was installed at Munday Chevrolet Geo in Houston, TX.
A short while later, officers from the Houston PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen pickup on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Chevy was located on Lucille Street, where it was parked and abandoned. Officers retrieved the Silverado and returned it to its relieved owners.
