In this case, a Chevrolet TrailBlazer was stolen from its owners’ apartment complex lot in Freeport, TX. The LoJack® system installed in the SUV proved its value by helping local police make a same day recovery.

On May 7th, 2014, the Chevy’s owners contacted the Freeport Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Trail Blazer, which was installed at Leo Martin Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Lake Jackson, TX.

A short while later, deputies from the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen SUV on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Chevy was found parked and abandoned in a retail lot. Police retrieved the TrailBlazer and soon returned it to its grateful owners.
