A business in Aurora, CO discovered their Ford F-250 missing on a recent Monday. The LoJack® system that was installed when the pickup was purchased proved its value by assisting local law enforcement in a same day recovery.

On May 5th, 2014, the Ford’s owners contacted the Aurora Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the F-250.

A short while later, officers from the Englewood PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen truck with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Ford was in the area of South Galapago Street and West Princeton Avenue, where it was found parked and unoccupied. The F-250 was retrieved and soon returned to its thankful owners.
