On a recent Friday morning in Snohomish, WA, the owner of a Nissan Frontier Crew Cab discovered his truck, with a utility trailer attached, had been stolen overnight. Thanks to the expert work of local law enforcement, with help from the LoJack® system installed in the pickup, it was recovered quickly and safely.

On April 11th, 2014, the Nissan’s owners reported the theft to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies verified the information and entered the vehicle identification number into the state and federal crime computers. That process automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Frontier, which was installed at Hayward Nissan in Hayward, CA.

The following day, deputies from the Snohomish County SO received the silent homing signal transmitting from the stolen truck on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol cars. The Nissan was located at a property on Upper Creek Road, along with its trailer and a laptop stolen in a separate burglary. A suspect was located on site and was taken into custody. The Frontier was retrieved and soon returned to its thankful owners.
