The Honda Prelude in this case was parked on the street in Everett, WA. When the owners returned three days later, the car was gone. Thanks to the great work of local law enforcement, assisted by the LoJack® system, the Prelude was recovered in less than an hour after activation.

When the theft was discovered on March 27th, 2014, the Honda’s owners contacted the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies verified the information and entered the vehicle identification number into the state and federal crime computers. That process automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Prelude, which was installed at Honda of Kirkland, WA.

A short while later, deputies from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office received the homing signal transmitting from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol cars.  The Honda was found parked and unoccupied on a residential street. Suspects in a nearby home were interviewed and arrested. The Prelude was retrieved and soon returned to its grateful owners.
