The owners of a Chrysler 300 were shopping in Pueblo, CO, on a recent Saturday. When they exited the store they made a shocking discovery- their vehicle was missing from the store’s parking lot. Because the 300 was protected by the LoJack® system, local police were able to recover it, quickly and safely, later that same day.

On April 5th, 2014, the Chrysler’s owners contacted the Pueblo Police to report the incident. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the NCIC state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the 300, which was installed at Spradley Ford in Pueblo, CO.

A short while later, officers with the Pueblo PD and deputies from the Pueblo Sheriff’s Office picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Chrysler in the area of West 24th Street and 3rd Avenue, where they also took one suspect into custody. The 300 was retrieved and soon returned to its thankful owners.
