The LoJack® System Helps Denver, Colorado Police Department Recover Stolen Nissan Murano

When these Denver, CO residents discovered their Nissan Murano had been stolen on a recent Monday, they were glad they had the LoJack® system installed when purchasing their vehicle. With LoJack’s help, local police were able to recover their SUV that same day.

On January 27th, 2014, the Nissan’s owners reported the crime to the Denver Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the NCIC state and federal crime computers. The LoJack transponder concealed in the Murano, which was installed at AutoNation Nissan in Denver, CO, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, officers with the Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. They located the Nissan parked and unoccupied The Murano was retrieved and soon returned to its very happy owners.
