Just before midnight on a recent Tuesday in Denver, CO, the owners of a GMC Envoy discovered their vehicle had been stolen. The LoJack® system that was installed when the SUV was purchased helped local police find it quickly and safely.

On February 4th, 2014, the GMC’s owners contacted the Denver Police to report their vehicle stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the NCIC state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Envoy, which was installed at Spradley Chevrolet in Pueblo, CO.

Just a few minutes later, officers with the Aurora PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen SUV on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. They located the GMC parked and abandoned on N. Newark St. The Envoy was safely retrieved and quickly returned to its grateful owners.
