This case truly illustrates the fact that no matter where in the United States your LoJack® system is installed, when it’s activated it works in ALL parts of the US with LoJack coverage. An Audi A4 stolen in Pocatello, ID, is recovered by police in Ogden, UT, assisted by a LoJack installed in Texas- in less than three hours after activation.

On February 12th, 2014, the Audi’s owners discovered the vehicle missing and contacted the Pocatello Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle’s information into the state and national stolen vehicle file via computer. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack transponder installed in the A4, which was installed at Millennium Audi in Houston, TX.

A short while later, officers with the Ogden City, UT PD began picking up the homing signal on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol cars.  The Audi was located on 26th Street, where it was found parked with four passengers inside who were detained. The driver was arrested and the A4 was retrieved and returned to its delighted owners.
