In this case, a Mercedes Benz C320 was stolen from a used car dealership in Seattle, WA. The LoJack® system installed in the Benz helped local police recover the car in only 75 minutes after activation.

When the dealership personnel discovered the Benz was missing on February 27th, 2014, they contacted the Seattle Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle identification number into the state and federal crime computers. That process automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the C320.

Just over an hour later, a Des Moines, WA police officer received the homing signal transmitting from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol car.  The officer located the Mercedes traveling on Pacific Highway South.  A traffic stop was performed and the male driver was taken into custody. The C320 was retrieved and soon returned to the grateful dealership.
