The owners of a Chrysler Town & Country minivan discovered it missing on a recent Sunday morning. The LoJack® system that was installed in the vehicle when it was purchased proved what a good investment it was by helping local police recover it in just over two hours after activation.

On March 9th, 2014, the Chrysler’s owner contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack transponder concealed in the Chrysler, which was installed at Heritage Chrysler Jeep in Baltimore, MD, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, BCPD patrol officers picked up the homing signals from the stolen minivan on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Chrysler traveling on W. Rogers Avenue. They performed a traffic stop and arrested the driver. The Town & Country was soon returned to its thankful owner.
