Houston, Texas Police Recover Stolen Nissan Juke with Help from the LoJack® System

Imagine waking up in the morning and discovering that your vehicle has been stolen from your driveway. That’s the shock this Houston, TX resident got when he discovered his 2013 Nissan Juke had been stolen overnight. The LoJack® system he had installed when purchasing his SUV proved its worth by helping local police recover the Juke, quickly and safely, that same day.

On February 3rd, 2014, the Nissan’s owner contacted the Houston Police Department to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Juke, which was installed at Gulf Coast Nissan/Toyota in Angleton, TX.

A short while later, officers from the Houston PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Nissan parked and abandoned in an apartment complex. They retrieved the Juke and promptly returned it to its delighted owner.
