On a recent Sunday afternoon, the owners of a Lincoln Aviator parked their SUV in a public lot, only to discover it missing when they returned. It’s a good thing there was a LoJack® system installed in the vehicle. With LoJack’s help, it was recovered quickly and safely.

The Oklahoma City Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers.
This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Aviator, which was installed at White Plains Lincoln Mercury in White Plains, NY.

A short while later, an officer with the Oklahoma City PD’s Spring Lake Division picked up the homing signal from the stolen SUV with the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol car. The officer located the Lincoln parked and unoccupied in the lot off a home improvement store.  The Lincoln was found to be in good condition and was quickly returned to its relieved owner.
