When an auto dealership in Lynnfield, MA discovered that a Ford F-350 pickup was missing, they were glad this particular vehicle was protected with the LoJack® system. With LoJack’s help, local police were able to recover the truck in less than an hour after activation.

On February 10th, 2014, the dealership management contacted the Lynnfield Police to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the F-350.

A short while later, officers from the Lynn PD began picking up the homing signals from the stolen truck on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Ford on Standish Road, just over the Lynn/Lynnfield town line, where it was parked and unoccupied. The F-350 was retrieved and soon returned to the dealership.
