The New Year had a tough start for this Georgia resident. When he left work the day after the holiday, his 2011 Cadillac CTS was missing from the parking lot. This victim was glad that he had the LoJack® system installed when he purchased his car. With LoJack’s help, local police recovered the vehicle in less than 90 minutes after activation.

On January 2nd, 2014, the Caddy’s owner contacted the Henry County Police to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the CTS, which was installed at Classic Cadillac in Atlanta, GA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, a Henry County PD officer began receiving the homing signal coming from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer located the Caddy parked in an apartment complex lot with a suspect inside and called for backup. The suspect attempted to drive away as the cruiser approached but was blocked in when the second officer arrived. The driver was taken into custody and the CTS was soon returned to its relieved owner.
