The owner of a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee discovered it missing from his work parking lot in Dallas, TX, on a recent Tuesday morning. It was then that he realized what a good investment it had been to have the LoJack® system installed when he purchased his SUV just two months before. With LoJack’s help, local police recovered the vehicle in just over two hours after activation.

On January 7th, 2014, the owner of a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee had his vehicle stolen from his   business’s parking lot.   He contacted the Dallas Police and made a report. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Grand Cherokee, which was installed at Love Field Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Dallas, TX.

A short while later, officers with the Dallas PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen SUV on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers found the Jeep in a condo lot, where it had been parked and abandoned with the engine running. The Grand Cherokee, valued at $30,000, was soon returned to the happy owner in good condition.
