The owner of a Volkswagen Jetta from Salisbury, NH, visited a friend in Concord, NH to discuss repayment of a debt. Their conversation turned into an argument, and the victim claimed that his car was stolen as a result sometime during the night.  Thanks to the LoJack® system the owner had installed when purchasing his Jetta, police were able to locate it quickly and safely.

On May 28th, 2013, the VW’s owner reported the incident to the Concord, NH police. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Jetta, which was installed at Quirk Volkswagen in Braintree, MA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, officers from the Manchester, NH PD began picking up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers found the VW near the intersection of Armory and Dubuque Streets, where it was parked and unoccupied. After a short surveillance, the Jetta was retrieved and soon returned to its relieved owner.
