When their Kia Amanti was stolen on Thanksgiving afternoon, the owners must have been grateful for the LoJack® system they had installed when buying their vehicle. Their local law enforcement, assisted by LoJack, recovered the car in less than a half hour after activation.

On November 28th, 2013, the Kia’s owners contacted the Denver Police to report that their vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Kia, which was installed at Grand Auto in Thornton, CO.

A very short time later, officers with the Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The Kia was very quickly located on West Ohio Ave., recovered, and soon returned to its very grateful owners.
